BrainStorm Blog #2

I want to make a 4-minute and 33-second soundscape that puts the listener through a hunting experience. Where they will be walking through a chilling forest with faint sounds of wildlife around them. Then all of a sudden the wildlife sounds still and they hear footsteps behind them. I want to start off with the sounds of entering a forest and a chilling wind and lonely footsteps. I will start building up to the climax with an off-step crunch of a branch then a rustle in the bushes somewhere. Next, another sound of footsteps will be heard faintly in the background. The main character will start to breathe heavier and will start to run. The other footsteps will pick up pace as well. There will be sounds of a chase happing. I am still not sure how I want to end off the song. Maybe with the person being caught or somehow conveying no one was there chasing them at all. I will probably have to make some of my own sounds if I can not find them in the shared folder. I am excited to listen to all the sounds and add anything that I probably didn't think of or will add something new to the listing experience.
